Five Nights at Freddy's: Anniversary began as a game pitch created by The Unwithered Truth, which I discovered through YouTube. I reached out in the comments, interviewed for the project, and was selected from several interested developers to join the team and lead its development. The original pitch has since reached over 3 million views, with our gameplay trailer reaching more than 360,000 views. The project in its current form blows the version from the trailer out of the water, visually, after much iteration since it was uploaded in November 2025.
Built in Unity HDRP, the game combines its central security-office gameplay with a wide range of additional playable content. I have single-handedly implemented the main gameplay systems, menus, vent-exploration sequences, 4 'maintenance tasks', 4 retro-arcade minigames, and a standalone boss encounter, alongside the systems needed to connect them into one continuous game.
Every major piece of content in our planned scope now exists in playable form. Some sections are approaching final quality while others still use placeholder geometry and temporary assets, but the entire planned experience has been successfully implemented or prototyped. Developing such a wide variety of mechanics within a single project and creating custom tools to solve FNaF-specific problems for non-technical teammates has made Anniversary my largest and proudest exercise in both technical execution and production management.
Sizzle Reel of features at various stages of development - showcasing as much as we can without spoiling anything for our loyal fans!

Thanks to using a fully 3D-engine, we're not nearly as technically limited as the original series.
