Energy.Media (contract project, 2020 to 2021)- I edited all of the “Power Talks” and many initial episodes of the Energy Superheroes Podcast for Energy.Media, a company started by my father Peter Perri III. I was instrumental to the founding of this business by advising him on what video equipment to purchase, creating a video production suite in his home office, and teaching him a workflow to use his equipment and send me the results for editing. Energy.Media focuses on business to business marketing and networking within the power and energy industry. Many of the videos I edited are available to view at https://energy.media/powertalks/, and new episodes of the Energy Superheroes Podcast are uploaded to this day.
Action Sports Editing for STN (academic project, 2017)- I earned second place in the national high school Action Sports Editing competition at STN, where I was provided with pre-recorded footage and music and had to turn it into a montage showcasing the surfers in the video. The competition was judged by the surfers and a panel of members of the broadcast and film industry.

Knockin’ On Doors (personal project, 2016)- A documentary created for my family about my grandfather, which was planned, written, shot, and edited entirely by me. This is only the first version, though. Due to factual inaccuracies that came from the fact that I did not know my grandfather for the vast majority of his life and the recording of many more interviews in later years, my dad and I agreed that eventually we would make a second version with the new interviews and a script written by him. 360 Degrees of Disney YouTube channel (paid project, 2017-2020)- I was paid to edit all 98 videos on this YouTube channel. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watchv=dwvJClZIiAo&t=1s&ab_channel=360DegreesofDisney
Pixels 4 Peace (2018, charity project)- Pixels 4 Peace was an online speedrunning marathon where pros would show off their skill at video games, and viewers would donate money to charity. When I worked on the project, donated funds went to the Trevor Project. We raised over $300 for charity the first time the marathon occurred. I was the technical director, meaning I ran the marathon's livestream on Twitch using OBS. I also helped organize the charity event, which took months of work prior. I was also an administrator for the marathon's public Discord server, where discussion of the event both before, during, and after occurred. Due to how Twitch works, the original livestream is no longer available, but the project's website can be viewed here: https://pixelsforpeace.weebly.com/
TSA On Demand Video: "Has anyone seen the D.O.G"? (2020, academic project)- Created for the Technology Student Association "On-Demand" Video competition. Required to be a minute or less and include the line "Has anyone seen the dog" and a plastic spoon as a prop. I was the director and editor; video produced in one day. Bare Knuckle (2019, personal project)- My friend from film class, Jake Oletsky, directed this film. I shot many of the scenes and provided assistance with editing (being responsible for the “rough cut”/initial sequencing, which was later tweaked by many other students). A Quick Visit (2019, academic project)- Pine Crest School's submission to the 2019 All American High School Film Festival 2 day on-site film production competition. The prompt was “Claustrophobic”, and it was required that the film take place in one room. I edited this film and helped with on-site production as a grip and creative advisor. https://youtu.be/BDaTUGFC_eg
All American High School Film Festival editing competition (2019, academic project)- I alone was tasked with sifting through a large amount of out-of-context and unorganized footage with various problems, and turning it into some form of story. Here’s my submission: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FmF-12eCC-EOceKuHzAdHhB9Cnejfnat/view?usp=sharing
The Shovel Knight Game You Can’t Buy (2021, personal project)- A video essay created at the request of many in the Shovel Knight Discord Server, to explain to new fans what Shovel Knight game to purchase due to the confusing nature of the series’ branding. The video goes over the history of the popular game series from both a gameplay and a marketing perspective and argues that the second game in the series, Plague of Shadows, is highly underrated and unappreciated and should be available for purchase as a standalone game like the rest of the games in the Shovel Knight series instead of being exclusive to the Treasure Trove collection, which includes all of the games in the series as of April 2021. Revenge of the Sith is a Shakespearean Tragedy (2019, academic project)- My midterm for Film Studies at Pine Crest, the only requirement was to make a video essay making an argument about a film. Link: https://youtu.be/x2G-iTZ16FE
Is Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows Canon? (2018, personal project)- This YouTube video was created to address a common question in the Shovel Knight community, whether or not the second game in the series is canonical to the overall storyline of the series. The question is so common that this video has earned over 45,000 views since it was posted. Link: https://youtu.be/5XHF6vP0XC4
Plague of Shadows Guides (2017 and 2018, personal project)- These videos were made to teach players how to control the character Plague Knight from Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows, since he is a very unorthodox character when compared to other games in the platforming genre, and to showcase tips and tricks about the game. STN Crazy 8s: Practice Day and Full Competition (academic projects, 2016)- These were news packages created for the STN Crazy 8s competition. I shot and produced one package in each broadcast, plus I edited all of the other teams’ packages together into the final product. These are the best examples of the many news pieces I was responsible for creating at PCNN in middle school and at PCTV in high school. The first two links are Crazy 8s broadcasts, and the third link is a repository of pieces from middle school that were broadcast on our show. Some are “serious news”, and others are joke pieces, sketches, etc. We were quite lucky our teachers and student body enjoyed the silly content, because we really were allowed a lot of creative freedom for a bunch of middle schoolers. The fourth link is a link to Pine Crest’s vimeo page, where our full school broadcasts can be found. If you search in the years 2014 through 2018, you will find many broadcasts where my influence was present, whether I created news packages, edited, or served as the technical director for the live broadcast.
